Rainbow Corner Preschool

• The Preschool is for children 3-5 years old.
  
  
• Year-Round, Rolling Registration.
  
  
• Certified Early Childhood Educator and Experienced Preschool Staff.
  
  
• OPEN DOOR POLICY. Parents are welcome to visit at any time.
  
  
• The Rainbow Corner Preschool provides an inclusive setting for children with disabilities and developmental
  delays, as well as children of typical development.
  
  
• The Rainbow Corner staff will participate in bathroom training in cooperation with a home program.

Rainbow Corner Preschool utilizes The Work Sampling System to document children's skills, knowledge, behavior, and academic accomplishments.

The preschool monitors each student's development with performance indicators (expectations) based on Pennsylvania State and national standards.

Work Sampling enables the teacher and aides to be responsive to each child's developmental and educational needs.

Reports are sent home several times during the school year so that parents can be active partners in their child's preschool experience.

The preschool operates on a school schedule with predetermined breaks throughout the year. There is also a special summer fun session. Classes are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays. There are two sessions:

• Morning- 8:15-11:15am
• Afternoon- 12:30-3:30pm
  

Rainbow Corner works to keep tuition affordable for families, believing all children deserve early childhood education. Rainbow Corner is able to offer an income-based sliding fee schedule for qualified families.

The United Way in the Bradford Area supports this tuition assistance program.

The Rainbow Corner Preschool holds a week-long summer fun camp for children age 3-5 years old.

Children do not have to be enrolled at Rainbow Corner to attend. Click here for registration information.

The Summer Fun Camp focuses on the outside world, nature, and outdoor play. The Summer Fun Camp provides structured play and socialization opportunities as well as school readiness activities.
